Roll call
Yesterday I noticed that my Google Reader looks a little different than my blog roll. There seem to be quite a few blogs that I read every single day that are not represented here. That seems wrong. So, today is blog maintenance day. I’m going to add my ‘regular reads’.
Delicious rolls
If you want to be on my blog roll, please add a comment to this post, or you can send me an email at goodfather@goodfatherblog.com. SEO (search engine optimization) guidelines dictate that I shouldn’t have a blog roll on my main page. This is because Google (and other search engines) now give you a lower page rank for ’site-wide’ links. I don’t care. I don’t blog to get higher stats, or boost my page rank, or save the world (or the cheerleader). I blog for FUN. I blog to interact with other people. I love the convenience of being able to click to another blog from your blog roll. Just as Google added search capabilities for binary files like Adobe Flash and Air applications, I’m sure the company will figure out some way to give us appropriate page rank, even if we have a blog roll on our main page. Right, Google?
If you’re already on my blog roll (or if you just like delicious rolls), you can still leave a comment, of course - tell us what your favorite roll is. Or even what your favorite blog roll is. They can be delicious too.

But you know what? Did you crawl all up in my mind or something? Because I was gonna blog about this very thing. And now it is going to look like I’m just a big ol’ copycatter. Humph.
Thank you for including me! And I blog for the exact same reasons (although it gives me a little jolt of pleasure to see the number of page views per month going up astronomically. Hey, we all need a little boost now and again!) LOL

Oooo I love a portuguese roll with a fried Egg, bacon, portabella mushrooms, slightly toasted with a wee bit of butter. Hubby adds Fried tomato and cheese. Yum! Try it, it’s delish!!!!

huh…greats minds and all that, i just did this last nite ‘cept i didn’t really remove anyone, just re-categorized into the ones i stalk and a few that i just read for fun and information…mostly because i want to make room for a few more…to… uh…stalk…
also tidied up my desktop where i had saved a few in shortcut format…and then because i forgotten that i had done that, was a little freaked out this morning, as i thought that something nefarious had ‘happened’ to the ‘puter again overnight …oh yeah, just loving mental pause more and more every day…

I’ve been procratinating blog maintenance all weekend. It is on my to do list for much the same reason as you. I also have added blogs to my favorite bookmarks that I have nto yet added to my reader. I still have not gone back and redone my avitar (forgot my password).
Goddfather, I was about to procrastinate some more and do some reading and writing, but perhaps I should follow suit.

Mmm, rolls. I’d like to say I understood whatever it was you were talking about up there about your blogroll but I’m really tired. I just spent 3 hours hanging Xmas lights and I need something to eat. I won’t be eating a roll though. Possibly a baguette.

Perfect timing, I’m working on my HASAY update right now, and now I’m thinking about rolls. I had a whole wheat roll from Pillsbury tonight, you know the bag and brown variety? Pop it in the oven, throw some flour on your counter tops, a little on your cheek and pass it off as yours. Of course, those who know my cooking know I’m lying. Favorite roll? Rock’n'roll! HA! And a cinnamon roll if there’s any left please.

This must be going around. I’m on your roll or is that on a roll or maybe it’s just that I’ve got plenty of rolls and don’t need the new ones I’m getting from eating all those yummy yeast rolls on Saturday. Oh my weakness……yeast rolls. Why couldn’t I hate bread instead of ice cream?? Life just isn’t fair.

Could I be on your blogroll several times? Also, I would like those rolls delivered to my house hot and ready. Also, you should rank your blogroll not alphabetically, but rather by favorites.
