Say “I do” among vine-draped trees and fragrant flowers at The Mill, a restored castle among jungle plants and exotic flowers. Then, enjoy cocktail hour around the 100-year-old mango tree after you get married.

Able to accommodate up to 1,700 guests, 440 Seaton has a classic urban ambiance to tie the knot. Enjoy the vintage feel of this wedding venue, built as a lumber yard in 1913.

Exposed brick, wooden beams, and a cathedral-like atrium give this warehouse a clean and simple aesthetic for wedding photos and events.

Located in the arts district in downtown Los Angeles, it’s within easy access to Little Tokyo, the Japanese Village, and the California Institute of Architecture. Even if you aren’t expecting 1,700 guests, this vintage venue is a terrific choice for a wedding in the City of Angels.

Urban and industrial in feel, the Ice House in Phoenix, Arizona, delivers a unique wedding venue to get married in style. It was built in the 1920s as an icehouse for the food industry.

Today, it offers amazing lighting, chic ceremony space, and a cocktail reception area. Exposed brick in the European courtyard provides a simple yet elegant background for wedding photos. It has a capacity of 200 guests and allows couples to use their choice of caterers, wedding planners, and vendors.

How cool does an 1800s ghost town sound for a destination wedding? Excellent, if you ask us! Located near Telluride, in the San Juan Mountains, Dunton Hot Springs is just the right amount of luxury and historic charm to get married.

Explore the Dancehall and Saloon or relax ahead of the big day at the Pony Express Yoga Studio. On the other hand, maybe the West Fork Boxing Gym is a better stress buster than yoga. Guests can enjoy all the strenuous or relaxing outdoor activities they want at this wedding venue.

With Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture, Thorncrown Chapel makes a stunning destination wedding location. It may not have a grand ballroom, but it’s one of the unique places for destination weddings we’ve seen in a long time.

This fantastic wedding destination features a gorgeous cathedral made of native stone, colored flagstone, 425 windows, and 6,000 square feet of glass in an Ozarks mountain setting. The chapel can hold about 100 guests for a wedding ceremony.

12. The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nevada

13. White Barn Inn, Kennebunkport, Maine

Part of the Auberge Resort Collection, the luxury White Barn Inn is a classic coastal destination wedding venue in the middle of Kennebunkport and a nearby beach. From the 200-year-old pine plank flooring to the soaring ceiling, this is one of the best destination wedding locations on the East Coast.

Located along the Kennebunk River, it may not be near the best beach wedding venues of Palm Beach or Key West in Florida, but it’s pretty impressive in its rights.

Hold your wedding ceremony in the historic White Barn Restaurant. A cocktail reception or plated dinner can be held in the elegant dining room or Little Barn after you get married.

14. Wheatleigh, Lenox, Massachusetts

Located in the beautiful Berkshires of western Massachusetts, the 1893 Italianate-style Wheatleigh mansion is inspired by Henry H. Cook’s home in Wheatleigh, Oxfordshire, England. Founded by the Astor family in 1904, the St. Regis New York City offers the timeless elegance of yesteryear among its antiques, artwork, ornate furnishings, and impeccable exterior. Any other wedding venues don’t compare.

St. Regis has a wedding planner who will help you plan a customized and unique wedding. There’s an on-site florist, luxury event space, catering, and King Cole Bar, perfect for a wedding reception.

With indoor and outdoor spaces, you can choose from a gorgeous ballroom or beautiful gardens for your wedding ceremony. The ballroom can accommodate about 250 guests.

The rugged natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains makes a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. From skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking to biking, kayaking, and birdwatching, nature lovers can enjoy outdoor activities before and after the big event. Beach wedding venues are trendy, but we love the idea of a Rocky Mountain backdrop for any wedding celebration.

18. Hacienda del Sol, Tucson, Arizona

The Hacienda del Sol is a sparkling vision of luxury in the middle of the Sonoran Desert and the Santa Catalina Mountain Range of Tucson. The National Historic Landmark has been popular with celebrities for decades, including John Wayne, Clark Gable, Spencer Tracey, and Katharine Hepburn.

Hacienda del Sol has indoor reception spaces and outdoor event spaces, making it one of the best non-beach wedding venues we’ve seen to get married. Choose from the Casa Feliz space for up to 75 guests, the Casa Luna space for up to 175 guests, and the Inner Courtyard space for up to 175 guests.

All are decked out in Southwestern-style decors, such as wrought iron, arched doorways, hand-painted tiles, adobe walls, cactus plants, and original fireplaces.
