Beis Luggage Review: Are They Worth the Price?

If you’re anything like us, choosing the right luggage is a big decision. While some minimalist travelers get by with a 20 liter backpack that’s 20 years old, most of us are more particular about what we travel with, whether we’re taking road trips, getting on a long-haul flight, or hopping on a regional jet for a weekend away.

Over the past few years, a handful of luxury luggage brands have popped up on the scene to compete with industry giants like Briggs & Riley or Travelpro. Beis is one of those newer luggage brands – it was founded in 2018 and quickly got the attention of travelers looking for suitcases, carry-ons, backpacks, and weekender bags. The best Beis products stand out in an industry that’s saturated with choices.

Beis has options for every type of travel – short weekend trips, long international vacations, and anything in between. Each item in their luggage line has a slew of features designed to make travel more convenient, more comfortable, and more efficient – but smartly designed and high quality lugage usually comes with a hefty price tag.

Beis has managed to balance their feature-heavy products with consumer-friendly price points – but do these more affordable products stand up, and are they worth the purchase? Let’s go over a few of our favorite Beis travel bags, along with the pros, cons, and special features so you can make an informed decision about your next choice in travel bags.

What’s Beis All About?

Beis Logo

Beis is a travel brand based in El Segundo that offers bags and luggage to help you stay organized on the go. Developed by Shay Mitchell of Pretty Little Liars fame, Beis products are chic, new, go-to bags designed to make travel easier.

The line features products that come in various sizes and styles, from totes and hard-sided suitcases to duffels, backpacks, and even garment cases. The brand prides itself on its modern aesthetic and durable construction, which ensures your belongings stay safe during those unexpected bumps in the road. Plus, its many pockets make organizing your items simple and easy.

When it comes to quality and design, Beis looks fashionable but also performs. Their bags are made from durable materials and have thoughtful features such as adjustable straps and built-in laptop sleeves. The color selection and sleek design make these bags perfect for urban commuters, business travelers, and globetrotters of all types.

Where Is Beis Sold?

You can buy Beis travel bags directly from beistravel.com, but oftentimes third-party sellers such as Nordstrom feature sales and deals on top-sellers. Keep an eye out for deals on Beis luggage around holidays, particularly around Memorial Day Weekend and on Black Friday.

Why Does Beis Stand Out?

1. All-Vegan Leather

We’re all about reducing our carbon footprint, and the process of sourcing leather for luggage can be environmentally and ethically questionable. That’s why we’re happy about the all-vegan leather used to make these travel bags.

The eco-friendly material is soft to the touch but also durable and water-resistant, ensuring that your belongings stay safe in any weather condition.

2. TSA-Friendly

Nobody likes getting hassled in the TSA line, and if you’ve let your Pre-Check or Global Entry expire, you’re even more likely to experience long lines that have been the norm since COVID.

Beis luggage is designed to make your travel experience as smooth and stress-free as possible, with TSA locks and plenty of pockets to make it easy to grab your laptop and toiletry bag without having to rummage through a loose menagerie of items.

3. Pockets, Pockets, Pockets.

When someone compliments your carry-on, you can say “Thanks, it has pockets!.” Beis bags offer multiple compartments to help you organize your clothing and electronics, plus compression sleeves, separate areas for dirty clothes, and PVC pouches that make for convenient cosmetic cases.

Stay organized in your hotel or Airbnb without having to unpack your whole suitcase every time you need to find something.

4. 360 Degree Spinner Wheels

Each Beis bag is equipped with 360-degree spinner wheels, making it easy to maneuver in any direction. This smooth-rolling feature makes changing terminals or navigating busy airports a breeze. The multi-directional wheels make it easier to move your bag around any corner quickly.

5. Excellent Customer Service

Anyone can make a good suitcase, but Beis stands out for its fantastic customer service. They have a team of friendly representatives available to answer your questions and help you with any concerns. They provide helpful information about their products and can even help with returns or exchanges if needed.

6. Beis Limited Lifetime Warranty

Beis offers a limited lifetime warranty on all of its bags, protecting you from any manufacturing defects. This warranty helps to provide peace of mind and ensures that you can enjoy your bag for years to come. Not all bags offer this warranty, so it is essential to look for bags with this feature.
