From tropical beaches surrounded by swaying palm trees and soft white sand to towering mountains, lush rainforests, and volcanic landscapes, there’s an isle, islet, cay, or atoll out there for every traveler (and budget). Whether you want to get away from it all, discover thrilling adventures, or just relax and unwind, islands have got it going on.

The Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans – as well as the Caribbean, Coral, Mediterranean, and Andaman Sea – all offer some of the most idyllic islands for families, couples, or groups to rest their weary feet.

Consider investing in travel insurance with SafetyWing or travel medical insurance with VisitorsCoverage. It may not seem like a necessity at the time, but insurance can cover unexpected issues like sickness, injuries (jellyfish sting, anyone?), and more while in another country.
