Afton State Park

The Afton State Park is nearly ten miles from the city, resting on the St. Croix River’s bank. Today, deep ravines characterize the park’s landscape and offer a scenic view of the region. 

The park is open every day from 8 am until 10 pm and welcomes a number of nature lovers from nearby cities. Some highlights of Afton State Park include fishing, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing, backpack camping, and prairie landscape.

St. Croix Valley Nature Center
