When visiting Lanesboro, the Stone Mill Hotel & Suites is an excellent, affordable, and accommodating place to stay. It is situated in the lovely downtown of Lanesboro, Minnesota, close to various establishments including one of my personal favorites, Sylvan Brewing.

This wonderful hotel is also a few blocks away from the best tourist attractions in Lanesboro, such as The Public House Theatre and the Root River Bicycle Trail. The Stone Mill Hotel & Suites was a nineteenth-century building used as a cold storage facility.

It is built from limestone, with an excellent interior and a newly renovated as an overnight destination, making it one of the top options for a romantic getaway in Southeast Minnesota

The Stone Mill Hotel and Suites has thirteen uniquely decorated rooms across four levels of the building. All of the rooms and suites reflect Lanesboro’s history and provide a home away from home while traveling to this quaint Minnesota town.

Iron Horse Outfitters has many historical places to visit, such as its Lanesboro railroad, which added to a great experience. It has an excellent motorcycle store full of high-quality motorcycle helmets, leather gear, and stuff that a traveler may need on the road.

The inn was unique because it has a store above, a store for motorcycle accessories store, and attracted a lot of bikers, but having them around was never disturbed. Rooms in Iron Horse Outfitters are spacious and decorated with high-end features and an exquisite 1890′ ambiance.

Sacred Clay Inn
